How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Before your first visit, please fill out the treatment form online in advance of your scheduled visit. Try come 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time to get acquainted with your acupuncturist about your treatment. Eat something lite beforehand, do not come on an empty stomach! Be sure to wear loose clothing so that we can needle your lower limbs.​

RESCHEDULE AND CANCELATION POLICY.

Your appointment time is reserved for you and only you. If you are late to your scheduled appointment, we will not be able to extend your time. We will use the remaining time for your treatment. As such, we request 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the cost of their appointment.

PAYMENT and INSURANCE:


Marie Agniel Acupuncture, PLLC is an out-of-network provider and does not accept any sort of insurance as form of payment, though we can provide a"Superbill" in voice with all relevant codes to submit to insurance companies for possible reimbursement.

Pease contact your insurance provider to learn more about your policy coverage to see if they reimburse for Acupuncture.

Insurance Companies that have usually some sort of acupuncture coverage include  Aetna, NYSHIP, Cigna, United Healthcare ( except Oxford), BCBS.

We accept cash, credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, and electronic options (PayPal, Venmo, Chase QuickPay by Zelle) as payment.

​

A credit card is required to book your appointment but will not be charged until the time of your visit.
